Frequently Asked Questions

We are open Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays. Overnight boarding guests receive care continuously regardless of regular operating hours.
Yes. All dogs enrolled at Happy Tails must be current on rabies, distemper/parvo (DHPP), and Bordetella vaccinations. Proof of vaccination from a licensed veterinarian is required prior to your dog's first visit. This policy exists to protect every dog in our care.
We recommend beginning with an enquiry via our contact form or by telephone. We will arrange a complimentary meet-and-greet so that our team can meet your dog and confirm that our environment is the right fit. Reservations are then confirmed upon receipt of vaccination records.
In the event of any medical concern, you will be contacted immediately. We have a relationship with a local emergency veterinary clinic and will transport your dog there if necessary. All families are asked to provide veterinary contact details and any relevant medical history upon enrollment.
We welcome all breeds and sizes. Each new dog undergoes a temperament assessment during their initial meet-and-greet to ensure we can provide an appropriate, safe group environment. Dogs with a documented history of aggression are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Absolutely — we encourage it. We believe transparency is the foundation of trust, and we are proud to show prospective families exactly where and how their companion will spend their day. Tours are available by appointment, Monday through Friday during operating hours.
